About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical compounding equipment including blenders, dryers, granulators, and liquid vessels
- Maintain accurate documentation such as batch records, logbooks, and timecards
- Perform equipment setup, disassembly, and cleaning in compliance with cGMP standards
- Utilize in-process devices like moisture analyzers and pH meters
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety practices, including lock-out/tag-out
- Use material handling devices such as electric and manual pallet jacks
- Execute PC-based tasks including SAP transactions and BMS activities
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to support teamwork
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret complex procedures and instructions
- Proficiency in general mathematics and the use of handheld calculators
- Basic mechanical understanding and experience using various hand tools
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring climbing, crouching, or standing for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school certification or 1–2 years of college coursework
- Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with personal computers and Windows-based applications
