About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical compounding equipment including blenders, dryers, granulators, and liquid vessels
- Maintain accurate documentation such as batch records, logbooks, and timecards in a cGMP environment
- Set up, disassemble, and clean production equipment and facilities
- Perform in-process testing using moisture analyzers and pH meters
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety practices, including lock-out/tag-out
- Use material handling devices like electric and manual pallet jacks
- Apply the metric system for process-related calculations and use PC-based systems for SAP transactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret complex procedures and instructions
- Strong math skills for metric calculations and general math concepts
- Basic mechanical understanding and experience using various hand tools
- Ability to lift 20–40 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, and cleaning chemicals
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school certification or 1–2 years of college coursework
- Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Windows-based applications and personal computers
