About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate pharmaceutical compounding equipment including blenders, dryers, and liquid vessels
- Maintain accurate documentation such as batch records, logbooks, and timecards
- Set up, disassemble, and clean production equipment and facilities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
- Utilize material handling devices like electric and manual pallet jacks
- Perform in-process testing using moisture analyzers and pH meters
- Adhere to safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Execute PC-based tasks including SAP transactions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret complex procedures and instructions
- Proficiency in general mathematics and the use of handheld calculators
- Basic mechanical understanding and experience with hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, crouching, or standing for extended periods
- Ability to work 1st shift (6:00am – 2:30pm) with flexibility for overtime or weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical school certification or 1–2 years of college coursework
- Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Windows-based applications and personal computers
