PFAS Prep Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis using various EPA methods in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Prepare reagents for use in the sample preparation process
• Safely and properly wash scientific glassware
• Load LCMS equipment for analysis
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping to ensure documentation and traceability
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment
• Recognize and use appropriate safety equipment to maintain safe working conditions

Requirements

• Experience with EPA method extraction and reagent preparation
• Ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working
• Proficiency in English verbal and written communication
• Manual dexterity to handle scientific glassware
• Ability to work off shifts (8am-4pm or 4pm-12am)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
