Responsibilities

• Validate 1D data packages against corporate standards, identifying and resolving formatting, depth, or metadata errors
• Liaise between technical users and service providers/IT to define requirements and ensure seamless data flow into subsurface systems
• Apply data governance rules, maintain submission templates, and consistency of data storage practices
• Monitor data quality metrics and provide technical support to internal stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, specifically in petrophysics and data quality management
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or Petroleum Engineering
• Deep knowledge of well log and core physics
• Experience with LAS/ASCII petrophysics data formats and subsurface information systems such as Techlog or Petrel
• Advanced capability in data analysis, data science, or business analytics
• Professional proficiency in English
• Excellent project management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, or Python for data validation
• Experience coordinating work across multiple departments to resolve data or process issues
• Master's degree in Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Analytics, or MIS
