Pet Groomer

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nail clipping, and ear cleaning for dogs, cats, and other animals.
• Style fur according to specific breed standards or individual owner preferences.
• Monitor and report any skin, coat, or health concerns observed during grooming sessions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals using proper handling techniques, especially for anxious pets.
• Maintain a hygienic and sanitized grooming environment and keep all tools in good working order.
• Consult with pet owners regarding grooming needs, coat maintenance, and aftercare.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless customer experience and assist with pet care tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or completion of a recognized grooming course.
• Strong technical knowledge of breed-specific grooming styles and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to handle various animal sizes, breeds, and temperaments safely.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for client consultations.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift pets, and perform repetitive tasks.
• High attention to detail and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
