About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform PET-CT scans to ensure high-quality imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Operate sophisticated PET-CT equipment
- Manage patient preparation and care during procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate records
- Work closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Degree in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or equivalent
- Current registration with the HCPC or equivalent regulatory body
- Significant experience in PET-CT imaging, preferably at Band 7 level
- Proficiency in operating PET-CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and protection protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Evidence of continued professional development
