Pet Bather/Pet Groomer Trainee

Responsibilities

• Perform core and advanced bathing services including shampooing, conditioning, drying, and de-shedding
• Execute paw pad and sanitary trims and nail clipping
• Participate in a 6-week formal training program led by expert instructors
• Complete hands-on van training and field ride-alongs to prepare for mobile grooming
• Transition into a Mobile Pet Stylist role upon passing the formal groom test

Requirements

• 6+ months of professional dog bathing experience
• Experience with de-shedding, paw pad/sanitary trims, and nail clipping
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift and handle dogs up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to maneuver dogs up to 100 lbs using van equipment
• Comfortable using smartphones and interacting with customers
