Pesticide Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical applications on golf course properties including tees, greens, and fairways
• Conduct routine safety inspections on all spraying equipment
• Maintain chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with regulations
• Track chemical inventory and compile pesticide usage reports
• Clean, test, calibrate, and prepare spray application equipment

Requirements

• Current provincial certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator
• Complete knowledge of chemical application equipment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Completion of required provincial and federal training (including OSHA Hazard Communication Standard)
