Pesticide Application Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical applications on golf courses, including fertilizing tees, greens, and fairways
• Conduct regular safety inspections on all spraying equipment
• Maintain chemical storage and mixing areas in compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations
• Supervise chemical handlers and/or helpers
• Track chemical inventory
• Clean, test, calibrate, and prepare all spraying application equipment
• Read and stay updated on chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of chemical application equipment
• Valid pesticide certificate (preferably CD4 certificate valid in Quebec)
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Valid driver's license
• Good physical condition
