Pest Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve pest problems for hospitality and commercial business customers
• Assist with the complete fumigation process, including sealing, tarping, and aeration
• Use handheld computerized equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues
• Conduct gas monitoring and fume readings during fumigation services
• Follow all safety protocols, including OSHA mandates and proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Read and interpret labels and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two years of work or military experience
• Valid Driver's License and ability to be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to obtain a TWIC card and a CDL with Hazmat endorsement
• Ability to obtain required pest certification and fumigation licensing
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on-call as necessary
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 70 pounds and work in various conditions (confined spaces, heights, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Previous experience in the pest elimination industry or route-based work
• Experience computing and mixing accurate concentrations of chemicals
