Pest Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn science-based pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with commercial customers in the hospitality and foodservice industries
• Partner with customers to identify pest elimination needs and recommend best practices
• Use handheld computerized equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective service under close supervision
• Obtain and maintain required pest control licensing and certifications as mandated by state and local laws

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of work or military experience
• Valid Driver's License with no restrictions
• Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts (Sunday–Thursday) and be on call as needed
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks such as kneeling, crouching, and standing for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Experience selling value-added products to existing customers
• Previous experience in the pest elimination industry or route-based service
