Pest Control and Legionella Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and pest control treatments in agro-food, industrial, and commercial facilities
• Execute prevention and control programs for Legionella in compliance with current regulations
• Collect environmental, water, and surface samples for laboratory analysis
• Prepare technical reports, service certificates, and associated documentation
• Provide technical advice to clients regarding corrective and preventive measures
• Manage and maintain equipment, products, and PPE
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, hygiene, and quality protocols

Requirements

• Certificado de Profesionalidad Nivel 2 in Pest Control Services (or equivalent)
• Certificado de Profesionalidad Nivel 2 in Hygienic-Sanitary Maintenance of Installations with Legionella Risk
• 1–2 years of experience in pest control and/or Legionella management
• Up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations (RD 487/2022, biocides, HACCP, etc.)
• Valid B driving license
• Proficiency with digital tools for reporting and record-keeping
• Ability to work autonomously and with a client-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional training in food safety, HACCP, or microbiology
• Previous experience working in laboratories or the food industry
• Additional certifications in biocides or specific treatments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
