Personnel Security Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the enterprise-wide Personnel Security program ensuring compliance with NISPOM and DoD requirements
• Oversee end-to-end clearance processing including investigations, continuous vetting, and polygraph coordination
• Serve as the primary interface with DCSA, DoD, and Intelligence Community representatives
• Manage submissions within DISS, NBIS, and other government systems of record
• Develop internal controls, SOPs, and metrics to ensure audit readiness
• Lead adverse information reporting and incident management in coordination with Legal and HR
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast clearance demand and reduce processing cycle times
• Provide subject matter expertise to senior leadership regarding clearance strategy and risk
• Train managers and employees on security responsibilities and reporting obligations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management or related field
• 7+ years of experience in Industrial Security with a focus on Personnel Security (PERSEC)
• Deep knowledge of NISPOM, DISS, NBIS, and TALON systems
• U.S. Citizenship with a current SSBI
• Ability to maintain an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SCI and/or SAP programs
• Background in audit preparation and DCSA assessments
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
