Personal Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner/operator of the day-to-day management of the personal training staff
• Drive the team to meet or exceed all established PT targets each month
• Lead the team to deliver high value PT orientation sessions to maximize client acquisition
• Own the end-to-end management of the trainer lifecycle including sourcing, hiring, and onboarding
• Lead ongoing trainer coaching and development through regular meetings
• Minimize trainer turnover through continuous support and professional development

Requirements

• Must successfully pass background check
• Must carry valid Personal Training Certification
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
• Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
• Ability to operate company computer systems and enter data

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable managerial experience for external candidates
• Experience at an L2 or Master Coach level
• High level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills
