Personal Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner/operator of the day-to-day management of the personal training staff
• Drive the team to meet or exceed all established PT targets each month
• Lead the team to deliver high value PT orientation sessions to maximize client acquisition
• Oversee the end-to-end trainer lifecycle including sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and development
• Conduct regular individual and team coaching meetings to improve performance and minimize turnover
• Partner with the Fitness Manager to grow the personal training business

Requirements

• Valid Personal Training Certification
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Successful completion of a background check
• Ability to lift more than 40 lbs and work in a gym setting
• Proficiency with company computer systems and data entry

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable managerial experience
• Experience at an L2 or Master Coach level
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
