Personal Training Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner/operator of the day-to-day management of the personal training staff
• Drive the team to meet or exceed all established PT targets each month
• Lead the team to deliver high value PT orientation sessions to maximize client acquisition
• Oversee and improve the personal training experience to drive revenue growth and client retention
• Manage the end-to-end trainer lifecycle including sourcing, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
• Lead ongoing trainer coaching and development through regular meetings
• Minimize trainer turnover through continuous support and development

Requirements

• Valid Personal Training Certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
• Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
• Proficiency in operating company computer systems and data entry

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of verifiable managerial experience
• Experience as an L2 or Master Coach level trainer
• High level of emotional intelligence and communication skills
