About the Company

The Pozez Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Pozez JCC), located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a nonprofit, social service organization that builds community and enriches lives. The Pozez JCC is a community connector, offering a variety of programs and services on the main campus, online and throughout Northern Virginia through its many partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality personal training to meet member needs
• Maintain a strong client base and assist in the renewal process of sessions
• Ensure a safe and healthy environment exists for exercising
• Promote facility programs, activities, and other department areas to members
• Keep current with the facility calendar, programs, events, and activities
• Participate in facility events, activities, and seminars as directed
• Help ensure the facility is accessed only by members and guests and remains secure
• Attend all scheduled meetings and accept other tasks as requested by the Fitness Director

Requirements

• Valid CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Well-organized and prepared for appointments
• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational personality
• Strong team player with punctuality and accountability
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree in exercise science or a related field
• Certification from NASM, ACSM, ACE, AFAA, AEA, or other nationally accredited organization
