Personal Lines Advisor

Responsibilities

• Establish new client relationships through prospecting, networking, and social media to grow personal lines sales
• Develop leads and provide quotes for Auto, Life, Home, Renters, Condo, and Umbrella policies
• Build trust with clients and spheres of influence to earn name-specific referrals
• Survey prospect clients to determine insurance needs and collect detailed underwriting information
• Prepare coverage comparisons and present proposals to clients
• Maintain up-to-date account information and manage insurance expiration logs
• Work with underwriters and carrier representatives to negotiate sales on behalf of clients
• Respond to client requests regarding insurance, claims, or administrative issues

Requirements

• Florida 2-20 License required
• High school diploma or 2 to 3 years of related experience/training
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Applied "EPIC" Agency Management System
