About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, timely customer service and support to clients through phone and email
- Support clients in securing, maintaining, and growing personal accounts
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling
- Handle all aspects of the renewal process, including gathering details and verifying application accuracy
- Check policies and endorsements for accuracy
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients through professional communication
- Assess quotes, negotiate conditions and pricing, and guide clients toward suitable coverage
- Stay current in the industry through continuing education
Requirements
- California Property & Casualty license required
- 2+ years of Personal Lines experience in an agency setting preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with California carriers
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Applied Systems EPIC
- Familiarity with Mercury Insurance
