Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Paralegal

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-litigation cases after settlement offers are received
• Negotiate with insurance adjusters to maximize client compensation
• Present settlement offers and detailed breakdowns to clients
• Reconcile medical provider balances for accurate calculations
• Coordinate case transitions to litigation with other departments
• Supervise and delegate tasks to a Pre-Litigation Assistant
• Monitor case progress and identify potential roadblocks
• Assist with incoming phone calls and routing

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of personal injury experience
• Understanding of PI case lifecycle and pre-litigation workflows
• Proven negotiation skills for high-volume caseloads
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative
• Must work fully onsite in Cartersville, GA
• Familiarity with Clio or EvenUp is beneficial
