Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day litigation cases, specifically motor vehicle liability and automobile accident cases
• Draft and file litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Guide plaintiff clients through the legal process
• Interact with expert witnesses to conduct conferences and draft expert reports and affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances

Requirements

• Law degree (J.D.) from a fully accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
• 5+ years of experience in personal injury or auto liability litigation
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent client service and communication skills
