Responsibilities

• Represent clients in personal injury litigation matters, including auto accidents and premises liability
• Oversee the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases, including pre-suit processes
• Manage the legal process from initiation, discovery, and pre-trial motions to trial and post-trial activities
• Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda
• Guide clients through every step of the case process
• Engage with expert witnesses for consultations, report drafting, and the preparation of affidavits
• Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Negotiate favorable settlements for clients while maintaining a trial-ready posture

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the Illinois Bar
• 3 to 7 years of personal injury experience
• Proven ability to manage a large volume of cases leading to favorable outcomes
• Exceptional client service and communication skills
• Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools
