About the role

Responsibilities

  • Attend to the personal care needs of residents including assistance with bathing, dressing, meals, and laundry
  • Supervise and administer medications to residents following established procedures and state law
  • Monitor and document resident condition, health status, and safety
  • Identify and report resident care needs, changes in status, or suspicion of abuse/neglect to supervisors
  • Maintain open communication with peers and supervisors to promote resident awareness
  • Restock medication supplies and complete necessary work orders

Requirements

  • Medication certification (QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, or Nurse Delegation)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to handle moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Strong multitasking and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in elder care
  • Proficient computer skills
