About the role

Responsibilities

  • Attend to the personal care needs of residents and provide assistance with ADLs
  • Provide personal care services including bathing, dressing, and oral hygiene
  • Anticipate and report resident care needs to supervisors
  • Monitor the safety and well-being of residents
  • Assist residents with prescribed daily medication routines under supervision
  • Document resident conditions and medication administration accurately
  • Restock medication supplies and complete necessary work orders

Requirements

  • Medication certification (QMAP-A/L, Med Tech, Med Aide, or Nurse Delegation)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Strong self-management and organization skills
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in elder care
  • Proficient computer skills
