Personal Care Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of patient care, including pressure care and assisting with personal hygiene
• Assist patients with ambulation and daily living activities as directed
• Perform constant patient observation (CPO) and bed making
• Provide an exceptional patient experience by role-modelling empathy to patients, families, and medical staff
• Work flexibly across various Epworth sites including Richmond, East Melbourne, Box Hill, Hawthorn, and Camberwell

Requirements

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee)
• Previous experience working in a clinical setting, ideally within a hospital
• Valid Australian working rights
• Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and time management skills
