Personal Care Assistant/Teaching Assistant School Age K-8

Responsibilities

• Implement strategies and interventions outlined in students’ Positive Behavior Support Plans
• Collect behavioral data and assist with progress monitoring
• Support classroom instruction and promote positive engagement
• Teach and reinforce communication, social, and self-regulation skills
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to create a nurturing learning environment

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in a related field or completion of 40 hour RBT training
• Experience working with children with disabilities or challenging behavior preferred
• CPR/First aid certification preferred
• Reliable transportation for travel to school sites
