Personal Care Assistant

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with disabilities
• Help students participate in classroom activities and manage personal care
• Implement behavioral interventions focusing on conflict resolution and anger management
• Gather daily data and maintain progress notes according to IEP goals
• Offer direct assistance to fulfill academic, social, and emotional requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
• Experience with autism or other special needs (preferred)
• Ability to obtain PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal, and FBI clearances
• Ability to pass TB screening
