Personal Banking Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end customer relationship for a book of NRI customers, from onboarding through ongoing advisory and retention
• Drive adoption of NRI banking products by translating regulatory complexity, such as FEMA and tax implications, into plain guidance
• Resolve account, KYC, transaction, and documentation issues independently from first contact to confirmed resolution
• Identify recurring friction patterns in customer interactions and provide specific recommendations for product and process improvements
• Build and maintain detailed CRM records and contribute to internal team playbooks

Requirements

• Experience in a customer-facing role within banking, fintech, financial services, or high-touch customer success
• Strong understanding of financial products and the ability to explain them simply
• High ownership mindset with the ability to treat customer problems as your own until solved
• Ability to operate without a script, diagnosing and improvising as needed
• Comfort working with regulatory and compliance complexity
• Clear written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NRI banking structures and regulations
• Proficiency in additional Indian languages such as Hindi, Tamil, or Telugu
• Experience working in a startup or early-stage environment
