About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
  • Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through digital and self-serve banking options.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
  • Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
  • Support branch operational activities including inventory management, application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role or a related field of study.
  • Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months).
  • Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a team-based, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
