About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
  • Act as a lobby leader, guiding customers through digital and self-serve banking options to ensure a fast and simple experience.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
  • Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
  • Support branch operational activities, including inventory management, application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Adhere to all risk, compliance, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role or a related field of study.
  • Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months).
  • Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles with a drive to deliver personalized experiences.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges.
