About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
  • Act as a lobby leader to welcome customers and guide them through digital and self-serve banking options.
  • Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking products, credit cards, and investment advice.
  • Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
  • Support branch operational activities including inventory management, application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory requirements to safeguard customer assets and privacy.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal banking products, market trends, and the regulatory environment.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role.
  • Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months).
  • Experience in consultative sales or customer service environments.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possession of a Mutual Funds License.
  • Relevant certification or degree in a related field of study.
