Personal Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions and digital banking options
• Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through banking services and recommend alternative digital or self-serve channels
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans and credit card products
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow customer relationships
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory requirements to safeguard customer assets and privacy

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in customer service or a related field
• Investment product registration completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
• Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles
• Proficiency with digital tools, mobile apps, tablets, and online banking applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
