Personal Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions and investment products
• Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through digital and self-serve banking options
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking, credit card, and investment solutions
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal banking products, market trends, and the regulatory environment

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in banking, customer service, or a related field
• Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
• Experience in consultative sales or customer service roles
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and social media
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers
• Excellent problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
