Personal Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions and digital banking options
• Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through the branch and recommend alternative digital or self-serve banking channels
• Conduct needs-based conversations to identify opportunities for everyday banking plans, credit cards, and investment advice
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow customer relationships
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, customer applications, and opening/closing procedures
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory requirements to safeguard customer assets and privacy

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a customer service or sales-oriented role
• Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (must be completed within 12 months)
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Proven problem-solving aptitude and the ability to respond flexibly to new challenges
• Experience in a consultative sales environment with a focus on delivering a personal customer experience
