Personal Banking Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
• Act as a lobby leader to guide customers through digital and self-serve banking options.
• Conduct needs-based conversations to recommend personal banking, credit card, and investment products.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow customer relationships.
• Support branch operational activities including inventory management, application follow-ups, and opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all risk, legal, and regulatory policies to safeguard customer assets and privacy.

Requirements

• Mandatory completion of CSC or IFIC certification.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Registration to sell investment products (completed or in progress within 12 months).
• Availability to work Monday through Saturday.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
