About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach
- Propose appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
- Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and specialized partners as needed
- Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
- Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
- Ability to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment
- Ability to follow strict policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Proven ability to proactively engage customers via phone or email
- Experience educating customers on mobile banking and digital technology
- Strong relationship-building skills with both customers and internal partners
- Experience identifying potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss
