Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and propose appropriate financial products and digital solutions
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
• Capability to obtain SAFE registration at the time of employment
• Strong cash handling and balancing skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
• Proven ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
