About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional service
  • Propose appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed
  • Assist with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
  • Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
  • Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as appropriate
  • Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

  • 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, military, or education)
  • Ability to register with SAFE at the time of employment
  • Proficiency in cash handling and balancing
  • Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
  • Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
  • Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
  • Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
