Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional service
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, service requests, and credit applications
• Propose appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions to meet customer needs
• Refer customers to other bankers and partners for specialized financial needs
• Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
• Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
• Proficiency in cash handling and balancing
• Ability to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
• Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
