Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage across various branch locations within the Triangle Central District to support vacancies or staff absences
• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and by proposing appropriate financial products and digital solutions
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and perform essential cash handling and balancing tasks
• Refer customers to appropriate bankers and partners to meet their specific financial needs
• Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in customer interaction (includes work, training, military, or education)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)
• Ability to travel 100% of the time within the assigned district
• Ability to commute to various assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
• Must be able to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in retail branch banking
• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Proven ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email outreach
• Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts
