About the role
Responsibilities
- Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional service
- Propose appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
- Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as appropriate
- Maintain cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
- Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations
Requirements
- 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
- Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
- Capability to complete SAFE registration at the time of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
- Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
- Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
- Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss
- Experience working collaboratively within a team to meet customer needs
