Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach
• Propose appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and specialized partners as needed
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy, including cash handling and balancing
• Comply with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (speaking and listening)
• Ability to pass a required language assessment
• Ability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays
• Ability to meet SAFE registration requirements and undergo necessary background investigations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
• Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss
• Experience working within a team to meet customer needs and build internal partnerships
