Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible banking support across various branch locations within a specific geography to cover vacancies or staff absences
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences by building relationships and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• Maintain a cash drawer, including proficiency in cash handling and balancing
• Refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as appropriate
• Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to travel 100% within the assigned district
• Ability to commute to various assigned branch locations for the duration of assignments
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
• Must be able to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment
• Proficiency in cash handling and maintaining a cash drawer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Experience proactively engaging customers through phone or email outreach
• Ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience fostering strong customer and internal partner relationships
• Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss
