Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships through proactive outreach and by proposing appropriate financial products, services, and digital solutions
• Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications
• Develop a deep understanding of bank products to connect customers to their specific financial needs
• Refer customers to other bankers and specialized partners as necessary
• Maintain a cash drawer, including cash handling and balancing tasks
• Ensure compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act and all related banking regulations

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
• Ability to meet SAFE registration requirements at the time of employment
• Ability to comply with Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems
• Proven ability to educate customers on mobile banking and digital technology
• Experience proactively engaging customers via phone or email
• Strong ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts to prevent loss
• Experience working collaboratively within a team to meet customer needs
