Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Build lasting customer relationships through proactive conversations to support financial well-being
• Lead discovery-driven discussions to connect customers with relevant banking products and digital tools
• Drive branch growth by identifying opportunities and making appropriate referrals to specialists
• Support everyday banking needs, including new account openings, service requests, and credit applications
• Perform cash handling and teller line activities accurately while maintaining compliance standards
• Collaborate with branch teammates to ensure seamless customer handoffs and a high-quality experience

Requirements

• 6+ months of customer interaction experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education)
• Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish and English
• Ability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
• Must be able to complete SAFE registration at the time of employment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in financial services or a highly regulated, customer-facing role
• Experience building trust-based relationships through active listening and consistent engagement
• Comfort initiating customer outreach via calls, emails, or other communication channels
• Proficiency with digital tools and the ability to guide customers in adopting new technologies
