Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Engage clients through in-person and proactive calling efforts to uncover financial needs and provide customized wellness recommendations
• Open personal and business accounts, including checking, small business, deposit products, and lending solutions
• Attain individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals to drive client acquisition and relationship deepening
• Partner with branch teammates and line of business partners to manage internal and external centers of influence
• Ensure compliance with all operational, risk, security, and audit procedures
• Support branch operations, including assisting with client transactions on the teller line as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (equivalent business experience also accepted)
• 1+ years of experience in relationship development, sales, or building referral sources
• Foundational understanding of consumer credit, including loan-to-value and debt-to-income ratios
• Knowledge of sales and service techniques such as prospecting, networking, and tele-consulting
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and digital technology literacy
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience interacting with small business clients and overcoming objections
• Notary License
