Personal Banker

Responsibilities

• Engage clients through in-person and proactive calling efforts to uncover financial needs and provide customized wellness recommendations.
• Open personal and business accounts, including checking, small business, deposit products, and lending solutions.
• Attain individual activity, behavior, and outcome goals to drive client acquisition and relationship deepening.
• Partner with branch teammates and line of business partners to expand client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with all operational, risk, security, and audit procedures.
• Support branch operations by assisting with client transactions on the teller line as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience.
• 1+ years of experience in relationship development and sales, specifically achieving sales goals and building referral sources.
• Understanding of consumer credit, including loan-to-value, debt-to-income, and credit reports.
• Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques such as prospecting, networking, and tele-consulting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and digital technology, including mobile apps and web-based platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to influence business partners and leverage centers of influence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience interacting with small business clients and overcoming objections.
• Notary License.

• Competitive base hourly rate ($20.67 - $31.25 per hour).
