About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in making product and service choices and manage account opening and closing for individual and commercial relationships
- Proactively explore customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
- Provide leadership and guidance to department members regarding customer inquiries, research, and service charge refunds
- Conduct customer profiling to ensure effective product suggestions and follow-up activities
- Perform initial credit verifications and underwriting for Demand Deposit and Consumer Loans
- Review loan documentation for DDL, Consumer, and Fresh Start Loan accounts
- Initiate and process incoming and outgoing wires
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 36 months of prior banking experience
- Knowledge of personal and business banking products and banking regulations
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience or equivalent training
- Expertise in deposit account products and consumer credit underwriting
