Personal Banker II

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in making product and service choices and manage account opening and closing for individual and commercial relationships
• Proactively explore customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
• Provide leadership and guidance to department members regarding customer inquiries, research, and service charge refunds
• Conduct customer profiling to ensure effective product suggestions and follow-up activities
• Perform initial credit verifications and underwriting for Demand Deposit and Consumer Loans
• Review loan documentation for DDL, Consumer, and Fresh Start Loan accounts
• Initiate and process incoming and outgoing wires

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 36 months of prior banking experience
• Knowledge of personal and business banking products and banking regulations
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience or equivalent training
• Expertise in deposit account products and consumer credit underwriting
