Personal Banker I

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service and sales activities to promote long-term customer relationships
• Assist customers with account problems, questions, and product/service choices
• Initiate and service deposit accounts and related services
• Serve as a consumer lender trainee by processing loan requests per bank policy
• Conduct customer profiling and follow-up calls to review customer needs
• Accept loan applications and conduct initial credit verifications and underwriting requirements
• Process incoming and outgoing wires and manage loan documentation
• Provide interest rate quotes and handle customer inquiries in person or via phone

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 24 months of prior banking experience
• Knowledge of personal and business banking products
• Basic understanding of banking regulations and policies
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required
